Rumah Ronald is a flat long house, which is organized to avoided split level and vertical organization stead in repeated, flat program to afford the basic need of the owner, in term of movement. This house is organized into two programs of activities, public areas (front area ; living + guestroom + service), private area (rear area ; main room + library  + service | 3rd floor ; child room + library + service)

Like a traditional "nuwou sesat". The rooms are named after the original name as "Anjungan" as a terrace or guest room. "Pusiban" as a family or dining room.  "Tetabuhan" as a living room.  "Gajah Merem" as a main room.  "Kebik Tengah" as a children's room.

This house is a reinterpretation of a traditional "Nuwou Sesat". This house focuses on roofing as the main element that is composed in the skin packaging of space programs as well as a shaping itself. Lampung is in Sumatra. The place where earthquakes occur every month or even weeks. As you know, Sumatra lay in the tectonic plate between two continents. Therefore, this house is composed as a repeated and multiplied form, based on modulation 5m x 5m, to avoid self-casting between structure, floor, and roof.

Lampung has traditional books that serve as a guide to life. This guide is usually used as an ornament on the building. This guide has several principles that must be practiced by the new generations of Lampung. One of the guidelines will be implemented in this House. It's called "Sang Bumi Ruwa Jurai". The meaning is different, but still one.
