Rumah Surastyo is a simple house, in the residential area of Bogor, the house is organized into two programs of activities, public areas (1st floor ; living + guestroom + service), private area (2nd floor ; main room + library  + service | 3rd floor ; child room + library + service)

This house is a reinterpretation of Marc-Antoine Laugier's "primitive hut". This house reduces the basic pattern of occupancy by removing the dominance of column elements, and the canopy as a main element. Therefor element Roof is the main element that is composed into the skin wrapper of space programs as well as façade to forming the identity of the house.

As with the typical "traditional hut" . It is reflected also into the design of this house. The hut as an element of the stage stands on the paddock (rice or grass) as a resting place, discussion, is transformed into a private area on the 1-2 floor. Paddock / background as an element to be transformed into a public area on the ground floor.

An intense discussion and design process will require space and aesthetic desire in the initial sketches, demanding the desired option.
